What is Ignite?

IGNITE is the Mt. Zion Student Ministry Creative Arts Ministries. While the focus of these teams is ministry, these teams also offer a great deal of opportunity to fellowship and build relationships with fellow students. Basically, the IGNITE ministry is a lot of fun and a great way to serve the body of Christ at Mt. Zion.

The IGNITE Ministry consists of the following teams:

Youth Choir - Our youth choir consists of 6th-12th grade students who desire to glorify God through singing. The choir assists the adult choir from time-to-time during worship, but its primary focus in our annual youth Christmas musical in early December. The choir meets each Wednesday night from 6:30-8 pm in the choir room on the second floor of the Education building during the Fall (Aug. - December).

Stix & Signs- This is a unique ministry that uses sticks and sign language as a form of musical interpretation. The goal of the ministry is to provide a visual interpretation to worship music. These teams will lead in support of corporate worship, AWANA, and also lead in the youth Christmas Musical. Check the rooted blog for current meeting times and locations.

Drama - Our youth drama teams also support worship, assist in our children's ministry, and lead during our youth Christmas musical. Check the rooted blog for current meeting times and locations.

If you want to get plugged in to ministry and have fun in the process, then join IGNITE this week!
